Looking for an apple orchard near Freeport? Ours is just a 45 mile drive straight south, and worth every mile. We're close to an hour from Freeport, so families from town and from nearby Lena, Pearl City, Rockford, and German Valley have folded us into their fall for years.
We're a four generation family farm and we do fall the way you and your kids remember us for a lifetime. Make the trip once, and spend a full afternoon here in the orchard, the pumpkin yard & patch, the corn maze, and everything in between, has a way of becoming the thing your family does every fall season.

Yes. Selmi's has an apple orchard about 45 miles south in Rock Falls, close to an hour drive from Freeport, with more than 15 varieties plus fresh cider and hot cider donuts made from scratch.

At Selmi's you get the apple orchard, the pumpkin yard & patch, a 6 acre corn maze with the maze masters challenge, Mt. Selmi, a petting zoo, a jumping pillow, and hot cider donuts, all on one family farm.
It is. We keep admission usually under $15. Pumpkins are priced one by one, so just check the signs by the color-dot pricing.
