Two Ways to Pumpkin Pick
Stroll the Yard or Pick from the Patch
Looking for a pumpkin patch near you? You just found the one your kids will remember. There's something about a little one carrying their own pumpkin to the car, too big for their arms and exactly the right one. We've been setting up that afternoon in Rock Falls for four generations, right in the heart of the Sauk Valley. There are two ways to find yours, so pick the one that fits your day.

The Pumpkin Yard
Included in Admission
Right by the entrance, the Pumpkin Yard is ready and waiting. Pick what you like, pay at the shed, and roll your haul to the car in one of our wagons. Simple and low-key.

U-Pick Pumpkin Patch
U-Pick Ticket Needed
Want to walk the field? Head out and pull your own right out of the field. It runs on select days, and the window is short, so catch it while it lasts.

There's More!
Nobody comes to Selmi's just for the pumpkins. Once you're here, make a day of it.

Why Families Keep Coming Back Every Fall
A Place That Feels Like Home
A day out with the whole family should be something everyone looks forward to, not something you have to save up for. We keep our admission affordable on purpose, usually under $20, because we believe a good fall afternoon should be within reach for every family. That, along with a welcome where the staff greet you and you never feel like a number, is what brings families back to Selmi's year after year.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Pumpkin Patch & Yard
Welcome to Selmi's Pumpkin Patch FAQ section, your go-to source for all things, well pumpkins! Here are a few things families like to know before they visit us.
Selmi's is at 1206 Dixon Ave., Rock Falls, IL 61071, in the heart of the Sauk Valley — a short drive from Sterling and Dixon and an easy trip from the towns around them.
The Pumpkin Yard is in the main common area and comes with your admission — pick from what's laid out and pay at the shed. The U-Pick Patch is a separate ticket where you walk the field and cut your own from the vine, available on select days each fall.
It is. Where a lot of farms run $30–$40 a person, a visit to Selmi's is usually under $20. Pumpkins in the yard are priced individually — just check the signs by the color-dot pricing.
We do. The corn maze, the apple orchard, Mt. Selmi and more are all right here on the same farm, so one visit covers the whole afternoon.
Through the fall season, September into October, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. U-Pick runs a shorter window — the schedule's on Beyonk.
